With the Forerunner 965's built-in full-colour maps, you'll never get lost! Create or search existing courses in the Garmin Connect App or sync from your favourite platform and receive turn-by-turn guidance. Enter the distance you want to run or bike and the sports watch will give you three unique routes that will take you back to your starting point. With the NextFork feature, you'll see exactly how far it is to the next fork, which further reduces the chance of cycling the wrong way.
Triathlon and multisport profiles
Switch between different profiles for triathlons, duathlons or swim sessions at the touch of a button. The stamina function gives you even more insight into your endurance. You'll know exactly how best to allocate your energy.
Daily suggested workouts
To achieve your health and performance goals, what you do today matters. This feature combines scientific insights with fitness, activity and lifestyle data to improve your fitness level (VO2-max) and achieve an optimal workout load. When generating a suggested workout, it considers your current training load, recovery time, sleep data as well as the profile of recently performed workouts.
Race widget
Whether it's a 10 km or a full marathon, the Forerunner 265 will help you prepare optimally for a race. For example, the sports watch provides training tips, personalised daily recommended workouts and with the Garmin Coach, you even get free customised training plans for 5 km, 10 km or a half marathon. Finally, the Race Predictor feature even provides you with a prediction of your finish time based on course data, weather and performance.

The Forerunner 965 also features the ClimbPro feature, which lets you analyse the altitude profile and different hills on your route. Very satisfied
Occasionally get used to when controls can only be used via buttons and when the touchscreen can. Touchscreen also seems to jitter at times. Other than that, lots of functionalities. In my opinion a good price/quality ratio.

For me, the Garmin Forerunner 965 is the perfect upgrade from my Vivoactive 4S.
After years of running with my Garmin Vivoactive 4S, I was already quite a fan of Garmin. Yet the Forerunner 965 really surprised me. The first thing you notice is the AMOLED screen: super bright, sharp and perfectly readable even in bright sunlight. While running, the watch responds quickly and the GPS is even more accurate than I was used to. The watch is light and comfortable, so I wear it all day long without it interfering. The workout suggestions and recovery advisories are more comprehensive than on my old Vivo 4S, which really motivates me to train smarter. The battery life is also a big step forward; I need to recharge much less often. There are also some downsides. The price is hefty, and the sheer amount of features means you really have to find your way around at first. Sometimes it feels like you have more options than you will ever use. But fair is fair: if you are already a fan of Garmin, like me, then this watch feels like a logical and very nice upgrade.
